Music Therapy/Special Needs Music Lessons in Los Angeles County
We work with all of the Regional Centers in Los Angeles County, including Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center, East LA Regional Center, North LA Regional Center and South Central Regional Center. We can help you get approved by just consulting with us and letting us know what kind of music therapy your child would benefit from. Once we know his needs we can set up a meeting with a Regional Center Coordinator who can take you through the process. We can help to expedite that process and make the experience much smoother.
Regional Center–Approved Music Therapy in Los Angeles County
At Los Angeles Music Teachers, we proudly partner with all Regional Centers across Los Angeles County to provide approved, in-home music therapy services for children with special needs, including those on the autism spectrum.
We work directly with:
Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center

North LA Regional Center
South Central Regional Center
If you're unsure how to begin the process of getting your child approved for music therapy through the Regional Center system, we’re here to help. Many parents are surprised by how smooth and fast it can be when they work with professionals who understand the system.
When you contact us, we’ll start by learning more about your child’s individual needs—whether they would benefit most from piano lessons, guitar, voice, violin, or drum instruction. Once we understand their profile and preferences, we can connect you with a Regional Center Coordinator and help facilitate the approval process.
Because we’ve worked with so many families across Burbank, Glendale, Hollywood, Studio City, and throughout Los Angeles County, we know how to expedite paperwork, align goals with therapy standards, and make the experience less overwhelming for parents.
Our certified music therapists are specially trained to adapt lessons for students with autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, and other developmental needs. Every lesson is conducted in-home, in a comfortable and familiar environment that supports engagement, learning, and progress.
