One-on-one attention Students in private music lessons are able to learn the type of music they personally are most interested in. Our teachers can focus 100% of their attention on that one student to ensure that hand positioning, posture or the understanding of a particular concept are correct. If a student has a particular difficulty in one area, the teacher can work on it without hampering the progress of a class of students and alternatively, if a student is excelling in one area, the teacher can move on. We offer 30 minute, 45 minute, and 1 hour music lessons.
Our school is equipped to offer music lessons for students of all ages and abilities, from beginners to very advanced students. We offer every style of lessons from classical to jazz and pop.
Choose Us for the Best Music Lessons in Burbank—In-Person or on Zoom.
We offer lessons in piano, guitar, voice, violin, drums, cello, flute, and trumpet. Our experienced instructors, all holding music degrees, tailor each lesson to match the student’s musical interests. Whether you’re a beginner, an advanced musician, or an adult learner, we have specialized coaches for every level and age group, including older adults.
IN HOME PIANO LESSONS Our piano teachers offer a variety of styles, from classical to popular music. Whether you’re interested in learning a classical sonatina, rock chords, or your favorite pop songs, our instructors are here to help you become the pianist you want to be. They will teach you the fundamentals of sight reading, technique, and theory while incorporating your favorite songs into the lessons. Our teachers have warm personalities and love sharing their passion for piano.
While having a piano at home is ideal, many beginners start by practicing on an electric keyboard. You can rent or purchase one for home use. We recommend a keyboard with regular-sized keys and touch-sensitive response, which you can find for as little as $100. A touch-sensitive keyboard allows for dynamic playing, where pressing a key harder results in a louder sound, and pressing it softer produces a quieter tone.
IN HOME GUITAR LESSONS Our guitar teachers offer lessons in rock, blues, metal, country, and classical styles on both electric and acoustic guitars. Beginner students will start with the basics, including chords, simple songs and melodies, sight reading, and theory. We strike a balance between building musicianship and having fun by ensuring each lesson introduces a new technical or theory concept, while also ending with something enjoyable like your favorite riff or song. To support your learning, we use a variety of guitar method books and encourage students to bring their favorite tracks to lessons. Our teachers can even assist with guitar repairs, such as setup and string replacement.
IN HOME VOICE LESSONS Our private voice teachers specialize in popular music and musical theatre. Whether you want to improve as a rock, pop, country, jazz, gospel, theatre, or R&B singer, we have the right instructors for you! Each week, voice students work on physical exercises to enhance their vocal range, ear training, breath control, vibrato, tone production, enunciation, and more. Together with their teacher, students set personal goals—whether it’s to sound like their favorite recording artists, prepare for a theatre audition, or develop their own unique voice.
IN HOME VIOLIN and VIOLA and CELLO LESSONS Our string instructors teach a wide range of styles, from playing by ear to reading sheet music. Whether you want to play classical music or learn to fiddle, we have a teacher for you. Students can start as young as five years old, or younger with the teacher’s approval. Our students enjoy learning the fundamentals while also incorporating their favorite songs into lessons. Our violin teachers have friendly personalities and love working with children, teens, and adults!
IN HOME SAXOPHONE LESSONS Whether you want to start a career in music or play just for fun, I will help you create a plan to reach your goals as quickly as possible. When you take saxophone lessons with Rick, our owner and Grammy-winning teacher, you’ll not only learn the technical and creative aspects of playing the instrument but also how to apply them in the real world. Since playing with other musicians is key to staying inspired, we’ll use background tracks for practice and help you find musicians to jam with, giving you real-life experience playing in a band.
IN HOME DRUM LESSONS Our drum instructors teach a variety of styles, including rock, metal, jazz, funk, blues, and more. Drum language can be complex, and our instructors will challenge you with technical exercises designed to improve your speed and comfort. Drummers are encouraged to bring their favorite drum parts to learn during lessons, and we also emphasize the importance of theory. You don’t need to purchase a drum kit to start—beginning students can learn with a drum pad and sticks for around $40. You’ll use our drum set during lessons and only need to bring your sticks and a notebook. We also offer percussion lessons, a great addition to any school band, rock band, or worship band.

Most of our students take lessons on a long term basis because they want to be constantly improving and they find the lessons enjoyable.
I DON’T HAVE ANY MUSICAL BACKGROUND OR ABILITY. CAN I STILL HELP MY CHILD PRACTICE? Yes. Even if you don't have a musical background you can ask the teacher for advice on how to help your child practice. By simply monitoring that they are doing exercises a certain number of times per day the student will progress. Parents will occasionally sit in on their child's music lesson to get an idea of the proper way a song should sound or how the student should be positioning their hands.
