- Whether you're starting saxophone lessons as a beginner or trying to break out of a rut, you need a sax Instructor who is dedicated to helping you achieve your goals.
- Our saxophone instructors are warm and friendly, and get to know each student and parent on a personal level.
- Our saxophone teacher Rick Rossi has a Masters in Saxophone performance, 3 Grammy Award nominations, and 35 years of teaching experience.
- You can learn any style you like: jazz, blues, pop and classical styles.
- We can also help you locate and rent or buy a saxophone. Renting usually starts at $35.00 per month and you can rent to buy. Your teacher is experienced in finding quality affordable instruments and can help you with renting or buying before the sax lessons start.
- Our owner and saxophone teacher, Rick Rossi, is an award winning player and plays all of the woodwinds, classically as well as any other style you like, including how to play jazz as well as how to improvise. He will prepare your child to be ready for concert band, auditions and the jazz ensemble if they are in a band school program.
7 or 8 years old is a good time to start lessons on the saxophone. Starting much earlier most students will have trouble holding the saxophone and getting enough air. It's better to start them on clarinet, piano or recorder (which is a relative of the saxophone and uses many of the same fingerings).
If you need help, just give us a call and we can discuss any concerns or questions that you have.
After each lesson, the student will go home with a clear homework assignment. We also offer for no extra charge to use our Teaching service Teacherzone.com which is an online system with examples of the songs and exercises that the student is working on.
Saxophone lessons are offered every day of the week. Just call us to find out what times are still available!

- Teach you how to play musical phrases
- Teach you how to play and improvise on all your favorite songs
Pick any style of jazz, rock or blues and I will help you learn the secrets to mastering it.
If you’re frustrated with your solo ability and can’t find a teacher who breaks it down and takes the mystery out of it, give me a call! I have a proven method that breaks through all the common barriers , you won’t believe how simple it is. Your solos will start flowing without any thinking which just gets in the way.
This method takes all the thinking out of your playing so your head and fingers will get out of the way and you’ll learn how to trust your ear to guide you through just like your favorite players. It’s not as hard as it may seem to you right now.
There are no tricks — just a simple step by step method that you can learn in 3 lessons and in 3 months you’ll be applying it to all your favorite songs you want to solo on.
This is a fun method that gets you playing real music right away instead of just exercises and scales. As a part of the training you will receive a slow blues track (piano, bass and drums) that you can practice along with. In 3 months you will be a new player, soloing with confidence and catching all the chord changes.
